On this episode of Gin & Justice, Amanda and Justine talk with Morgan Godvin.
Morgan is a harm reduction advocate who spent years addicted to heroin and years in prison due to the overdose death of her best friend. She found a system of injustice within the US justice system, and now she successfully works to change the systems that have harmed her and are harming many others. Not only by telling her own story, but she is also the engagement editor (and occasional feature writer) for the American Prison Newspapers collection at JSTOR Daily, and started the non profit Beats Overdose, which provides overdose prevention services to the music and entertainment industry.
