Boise housing market has been out of control (and out of reach) for several years now, with the median home price hitting an all-time high in May of over $600K. But as Idaho Statesman reporter Paul Schwedelson tells us, things are starting to shift. Houses have been sitting on the market longer, prices have been dropping and at least one major homebuilder forecasts $400K as a reasonable price for new homes in the near future. So can wannabe buyers who were shut out in 2020 and 2021 finally afford to buy a roof over their head?
Open your Zillow app and dive in with him and City Cast Boise host Frankie Barnhill to learn what’s up with our wild world of home buying. And, tell us your story! Are you in the market to buy? How’s it’s going? Leave us a voicemail and we may share your story in a future episode: 208-546-9485.
