Former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowler Greg Ellis on faith, football and coaching
Greg Ellis is currently the head football coach at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. Ellis is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he starred as a three-time First-Team All-ACC and was selected 8th overall in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.
Ellis played eleven seasons with the Cowboys from 1998-2008 and then finished up his final season in 2009 with the Oakland Raiders. In 2007, he had 12 5 sacks, was selected to the NFC Pro Bowl roster and was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He is third on the Cowboys all-time sack leader list.
