22/08/2022 Department of Human Services Pavely inclusion app
Pavely is a uniquely South Australian smartphone app and Inclusive SA initiative that drives community inclusion and greater independence for people with accessibility needs. The app provides people with disability (and the broader community) with a directory of South Australia’s inclusive and accessible venues and events.
The app makes it easy for users to find new places to visit based on their accessibility needs, and rate and review their experiences to help others in the Pavely community.
In this episode, we hear from Department of Human Services Chief Executive, Lois Boswell, and Sisaleo Philavong, project officer at the Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia and an active member of the DHS Disability Engagement Group, about the app.
The Pavely app is a key deliverable under Inclusive SA: the State Disability Inclusion Plan and was funded in collaboration with the Department for Innovation and Skills, through the Go2Gov program.
Pavely is now available to download for free from both Apple and Android app stores.
