Today’s topic is one of those things that is discussed behind closed and heavily guarded doors. However, it’s an important one that I believe affects anyone in the coaching and mentorship space. This is why I want to bring this topic out into the light and start opening a conversation up on how you can hold space for clients who are struggling.
As a coach or mentor, we can easily get sucked into this idea of us having to act as your client’s savior. That while they work with you in your container, they should be celebrating wins and accomplishing big things. In today’s episode, I’m sharing why hard seasons are normal for your clients and anyone else. I also discuss why this is part of the natural and messy journey of entrepreneurship, and why challenges are great opportunities for you and your client to dig deeper, grow, and move to a new level.
I also discuss your role as a mentor and why mentorship exists, and how mentorship isn’t about being someone’s savior but instead being someone’s mirror. If you’ve ever experienced a challenging season yourself, or maybe you’ve felt bad that your client was going through one, this episode is for you.
