Simi Majola speaks to Craige Q7 Beckett about the challenge of restoring the culture and pride of the San people. They discuss rights of passage, natural ways of living, traditional skills, food insecurity, land rights and restrictions, and what it means to be a community builder.
Craige's bio:
I'm San, born in JHB, but have lived on and off the grid with San elders and leaders' family and relatives. I'm a San healer, meaning I work with plants and ancestors as well as own my own label called Indogicures, I'm the founder of project mantis that became IYX Africa over 20 years of San research and indigenous knowledge systems. I consider myself a Southern African Native revolutionary with revolutionary ideas to where and how my people should live in present day society. I'm an agro-ecology practitioner, a huntsman as well as a natural survivalist.
