Happy Soccer Podcast Day! The show this week is back to being "just" a podcast, and not also a radio show. So it can be more fun and sweary.
Bone is happy about buying a Leeds United home kit. Then, they cover every angle of Manchester United's surprising 2-1 win over Liverpool (6:13).
Next, they discuss how Leeds United is becoming a big deal in America, with their game against Brighton this weekend being shown on USA Network and Christian Pulisic's struggles with Chelsea (23:55). After that, they hit on Leeds United hammering Chelsea, including Edouard Mendy's boner in the loss (27:54). Also on the topic of Leeds, they talk about how special Tyler Adams is and how excited they are to see him suit up for the USMNT (31:04). They wrapped up the initial part of the Premier League discusson by quickly recapping where the Premier League table currently sits (33:51).
Next, Bone and Beam switch gears and break down the Crew's disappointing 2-2 tie against Atlanta United and their frustrations with Caleb Porter (35:20).
In the third part of the podcast, Beamer's friend "Manchester Joe" joined the guys to talk about a number of topics including Manchester United (of course), the Glazer ownership group, cultural differences between England and the U.S., and more (44:15). This discussion went for quite a while, making this one of the longest episodes we've had this year. Thanks to Joe for stopping in!
