Did you know that doodling has been shown to lower stress, bring calm, help you think creatively, encourage mindfulness, and help you process emotions? Creating simply to create, enjoying the journey, letting the tools guide your play—well, it’s actually kind of fun! And it’s a great meditation option for people who might struggle to focus or don’t feel comfortable closing their eyes. Let’s get out of the box with this meditation and tap into our creativity to help us focus. You’ll need some paper and some coloring supplies: markers, colored pencils, crayons, pens—whatever you have available to you will work great. I’m Amy Jackson. Let’s settle in and get started.
