Paranormal history is littered with numerous stories of hauntings associated with numerous inanimate objects from every populated continent in the world. From drums, chairs, walking sticks and countless dolls, it seems ghosts are quiet happy to use an object as a tether to the world.
In her new book, Haunted Heirlooms, author Anna Maria Manolo has collected five stories of objects you may never have considered as potential vessels for the other side to make themselves known to us.
We discuss some of the first hand accounts from the book, including Anna's hair raising experience after purchasing an antique chair with a price that really was too good to be true, along with the power of works of art to mesmerise us, why visiting a friend who wants to put you in a haunted bed isn't a good idea and much more.
Thank you as always to Anna for joining me as always on the show.
