Most parents would agree that something happening to their child would be their worst nightmare. That nightmare became a reality for Susan on April 1, 2005, when she got a call at work that her infant son had stopped breathing. What unfolded over the following hours and days changed the life of not only Susan but her two young boys forever. Susan shares what it was like navigating through discovering her son had been abused,  parenting her two boys as a single mom and following the Lord's leading in working in Child Abuse prevention. This conversation will leave you amazed at Susan's strength and how she continuously engaged with God and leaned into the Lord through the years. We are so thankful for Susan's willingness to share her family's story with us, and we hope that this story strengthens your faith in the One who is bigger than it all.
