On today's podcast I share the thoughts of Homer Smith from his manual "The History of Football Concepts." Homer Smith was a forward thinker on the game with a strong understanding of how the past affects the future.
He envisioned much of what is happening in the game today over two decades ago.
Homer Smith was the head coach at Davidson College, the University of Pacific, and the US Military Academy. He was offensive coordinator at UCLA, Alabama, Arizona and for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a Broyles award winner in 1997.
He held degrees from Princeton, Stanford School of Business, and Harvard Divinity School.
