How ICSs will aid the NHS's digital transformation
Welcome to the final episode of our mini-series exploring the NHS's adoption of Integrated Care Systems, presented by the GC Health and Life Sciences practice.
NHS England Chief Executive Amanda Pritchard has made clear that digital is central to transforming the NHS to tackle the backlog and recover services after the Covid-19 pandemic.
As Integrated Care Systems continue to build resources to implement their digital plans, this episode will explore what the potential is for digital and technology to improve the health system and what impacts we can expect technological adoption to have on both patient outcomes and the NHS.
To discuss this and more, Senior Associate Rosie Hill is joined by Breid O’Brien, Director of Innovation and Digital Health at NHSE&I, Matthew Swindells, Joint Chair for the four Acute Trusts in North West London, Dr Phil Richardson, Programme Director for Dorset ICS and Strategic advisor to the board, and Dr Harpreet Sood, practising GP and former Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer at NHS England.
