Climate Council Bookclub event: 'Humanity's Moment' author, Joëlle Gergis talks with Dr Simon Bradshaw
Climate scientist and author, Joëlle Gergis (pictured), talks about her new book, "Humanity's Moment: A climate scientist case for hope", with the Research Director from the Climate Council, Dr Simon Bradshaw.
The discussion between Dr Gergis and Dr Bradshaw was a Climate Council Bookclub event.
Dr Gergis felt she had no option but to write the book as she had access to a vast array of information and evidence; evidence being illustrated with alarming rapidity and it personally reached something of a crescendo when it was predicted that Koalas would become extinct in New South Wales by 2050.
Those eager to hear more of what Dr Gergis has to say can do that at Melbourne's Climarte on Monday at 6:00 pm when she joins a conversation with City of Yarra Mayor Cr Sophie Wade.
