SITD 9/14/22: Aussie Open on IMPACT, Wrestling in Mall of America

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, IMPACT Wrestling, NXT Level Up, NJPW Strong, NWA USA, NWA Powerrr, and WWE Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on IMPACT Wrestling, we got a number of debuts including Aussie Open going against Ace Austin & Chris Bey, Yuya Uemura vs. Kenny King and Shane Taylor vs. Crazzy Steve. Also, Mickie James starts her Last Rodeo and Eddie Edwards tries to get Josh Alexander to switch sides.

F1RST Wrestling brings wrestling back to the Mall of America for the first time in 27 years, with such AEW talent such as Ethan Page, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy vs. Effy and the main event of Rob Van Dam & Dante Martin gets interrupted by The Trustbusters’ Ari Daivari & Sonny Kiss.

On NXT Level Up, Charlie Dempsey debuts taking on Chase U’s Bodhi Hayward. We also get Valentina Feroz vs. Sol Ruca and Channing Lorenzo vs. Ikemen Jiro.

Also, Buffalo’s own The Butcher & The Blade on AEW Dark: Elevation, The Queen Bee Match on NWA Powerrr, Aussie Open defend the tag titles against West Coast Wrecking Crew on NJPW Strong, Hikaru Shida gets taken out on AEW Dark, More National Title Tournament qualifying matches on NWA USA, T-Bar vs. Cedric Alexander on WWE Main Event and more!
