Gustavo Arellano is the publisher and editor of Orange County's alternative weekly OC Weekly, and the author of the column ¡Ask a Mexican!, which is syndicated nationally. Author of Orange County: A Personal History and Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America. A lecturer with the Chicana and Chicano Studies department at California State University, Fullerton, and a consulting producer on FOX's animated show, Bordertown. Arellano attended Anaheim High, Orange Coast JC, Chapman University and earned a Masters from UCLA. Like myself, he is the son of Mexican immigrants from Zacatecas, Mexico.
