If it's not, then what is it?
Perfectionism is an excuse. It's a cover for feeling grossly insecure, or being worried what other people may think of you. It's a security blanket. It's a trauma response. It's a way we "wait for the right moment" instead of using our most valuable resource - TIME - to live our lives.
