EP170 Confidence Means Getting Honest and Keeping Honest
Welcome to Episode 170 where we get into how to get honest about how we use our voice and our behavior. Do they speak confidence…or not?
In this episode we talk about how one of the aspects of feeling and being confident is being gut-level honest with ourselves about who we are, what we are choosing and where we are going. In essence, it’s about making friends with reality as I say, because denial, rationalization and avoidance will ONLY serve to harm our self-esteem - not bolster it. We discuss the need to grab accountability for our communication and our behavior in our relationships. We focus on ways to assess how healthy you are today, around your beliefs, your communication, and your behavior. By getting a coach, joining a likeminded group, and writing down your findings, you can begin immediately to make things better in this area.
Key Elements:
“Honesty
is telling the truth
to ourselves and others.
Integrity
is living that truth. ”
- Kenneth H. Blanchard.
