Building "New School" Gymnastics Strength and Conditioning Programs
Gymnasts using general strength training and external weight lifting is continuing to become gold standard in gymnastics. However, many people are overwhelmed by how to start. In this first Part 1 of this episode series, our director of Strength and Conditioning at Champion Kiefer Lammi talks about how and why we build Gymnastics Performance Programs. He talks about the approach we take, exercise categories we find useful and how gymnasts can use these programs as a piece of their overall strength program, not in replacement of it, to increase strength, power, performance, and reduce injury risk.
