It's a bye week in Lincoln, but that doesn't mean things are slow at the moment with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who are practicing for a few days this week before the staff gets out to recruit and continue to add to the 2023 recruiting class and beyond.
First the trio discusses Nebraska's defensive situation and how Mickey Joseph plans to handle things there. Bill Busch is now in charge of the defense, but given that the team is in season what changes are really possible?
From there discussion moves on to the the offensive side of the ball as Ajay Allen and Teddy Prochazka are injured and done for the year. What does it mean for both of them and could the Huskers need to play defense with the running back to make sure he's still in Lincoln next fall?
Finally it's time to talk coaches and there's plenty of discussion about Matt Campbell, Lance Leipold and Bill O'Brien, as the three are expected to be the top candidates the Huskers are expected to consider at this time. What are the concerns with each? Why could the work? All those answers and more on this edition of the Husker247 Podcast.
