My memory may waver

But my love will remain

In this world that is alien

I am still one and the same

I cannot remember sometimes

All the things that I should

However, I know I still love you

Like no one else ever could

So please do not forget me

Nor the person I once was

When you feel so frustrated

Please just stop for a pause

Look at the wonderment

And the fear in my eyes

Because of a world that is strange

Filled with whats, wheres, and whys.

Please put your arms around me

Guide me through the day and the night

And tell me, my sweet child,

That everything will be alright.'
