Iorio.
A scouting report on him from the WHL said: "An effective and intelligent two-way defender who should see his stock rise when the WHL gets going. His patience and poise make him a very good prospect in the modern game."
Iorio, 19, is a 6’-3”, right-handed defenseman from British Columbia. He was a second round pick (#55 overall) of the Capitals in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Iorio signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Capitals on October 4, 2021.
At Medstar Ice complex he had this to say about play some big name NHL players : "Just getting that little taste really motivates you to have a good summer,” Iorio said, “The goal is to take the jump to professional hockey. It’s a big summer for me, and I’ve been working really hard. I’m going to continue to work hard and do everything I can to play professional hockey.”
