In Episode 35 we explained how stress and “The Stress Response” is THE number one cause of sickness and disease as it impacts your Brain, Muscles, Heart, Digestive System, and Reproductive Hormones.
Last week, in Episode 36 we shared one way to reduce stress:
Forgiveness.
This week we look at another powerful method for reducing stress:
Having a PURPOSE!
Studies show that having a strong sense of purpose will not only reduce your stress levels, it will boost your Immune System, improve your digestion, lower your blood pressure and help balance your hormones.
In addition, if you suffer with social anxiety, low self-esteem, fear of failure, and/or neediness…
Knowing, and living, your PURPOSE will help!
Let me say it another way…
If there was a vitamin or drug that could give you the benefits that having a sense of purpose can give you, it would be a top seller!
