The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2020 Virtual Congress brought together leading experts in oncology who updated the community on the latest data and hot topics in many disease areas, including lung cancer.
In this podcast, Solange Peters, MD, PhD, University Hospital Vaudois, Lausanne, Switzerland, Martin Reck, MD, PhD, German Center of Lung Research, Grosshansdorf, Germany and Sanjay Popat, BSc, MBBS, FRCP, PhD, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, discuss the latest advances in oncogene-targeted therapy in the first-line treatment of patients with advanced ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), reviewing data from the CROWN, ALEX and ALTA-1L studies. The panel also discusses the latest data presented from the ADAURA study in patients with resected EGFR-mutated NSCLC, as well as the outcomes from the LungART study, and the impact of the data presented for guidelines going forward in post-operative radiotherapy in NSCLC.
