   We spoke with Springwater Township's Mayor Don Allen on being the first in Simcoe County to adopt a four-day work week. How does it work? How has staff reacted to this? What happened to productivity? So many questions ... we got the answers.

   Born at the start of the pandemic to help residents connect, The Barrie Families Unite Facebook page continues to evolve to meet the growing needs of the community. They cover everything from helping find seasonal clothing for those in need to offering crisis support. MJ got an update from Barrie Families Unite founder Nikki Glahn.
   
   
3. Loud Driver Wakes Up Most of the City
   Earlier this week, social media lit up early morning with many Barrie residents complaining about being woken up from their sleep by the squealing of tires and the echo of a throaty muffler on streets all over town. People wondering why police haven't done something about it. Turns out it's not that easy ... and the penalties are not much of a deterrent. We spoke with Barrie Police Communications Co-ordinator Peter Leon. 
   
   
4. Thinking of Moving to an Electric Vehicle?
   Many people are thinking about making the leap to electric vehicles with the high price of gasoline. That said, there are many questions and concerns that remain. CAA is keeping a close eye on the advent of the EV. Teresa de Felice joins us from CAA Government and Community relations to answer your burning questions.
