More than just a words on page, far beyond just a recitation and nothing less than a unifying tradition, the Pledge of Allegiance is engrained in our American brains at a very young age. It is recited before school starts, before meetings, some sporting events, and it’s even well known internationally. But here’s a question…we know the Pledge, but do we know the person?
