Talking Strange Paranormal Show
Society & Culture
On Oct. 21, Netflix debuts 28 Days Haunted, its first paranormal investigative show, co-hosted by Talking Strange host Aaron Sagers — also seen on Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera — and Tony Spera, director of the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) and the son-in-law of famed ghost hunters Ed & Lorraine Warren. In the series, three teams of paranormal investigators are embedded in three separate allegedly haunted locations for 28 days straight. Together, Aaron and Tony monitor the activity as it escalates. The show 28 Days Haunted is inspired by the works of the Warrens, but stands on its own as an investigative program.
This podcast episode is recorded from the living room of the Warrens home (and near the Warren Occult Museum, housing the infamous Annabelle Doll), where Tony Spera joins Aaron to discuss his personal backstory with Ed and Lorraine, and he opens up about his own paranormal experiences. He also talks about his Seekers of the Supernatural Paranormal Convention, taking place Oct. 29, 2022 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
