Nancy Vows Vote, Biden Cancels Trip

Earlier today Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi vowed the vote on the infrastructure bill would happen tonight. Sources suggest twenty progressive Democrats will vote “no” unless the infrastructure bill and the society safety net package are voted on together. Now Biden has cancelled a planned trip home to call into a progressive caucus meeting in a last ditch effort to push for the infrastructure vote. What does this back-and-fourth amongst Democrats say about the likelihood of this bill getting passed and the future of the Democratic party?
