Harris on McConnell Finally Acknowledging Biden Win: "Would Have Been Better If It Were Earlier"
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris has applauded Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for acknowledging President-elect Joe Biden's win. McConnell congratulated Biden from the Senate floor on Tuesday, six weeks after Election Day.While speaking with ABC News, Harris also said she wished the conversation between McConnell and Biden happened earlier.
Russian hackers are suspected of infiltrating multiple U.S. federal agencies. Some departments include: the department of Homeland Security, Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce and the Department of Agriculture. The exact scope and scale of the hack remains to be seen. The hack remains under investigation. President Donald Trump has not commented on the attack.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease is recommending President-elect Joe Biden to get the Covid-19 vaccine. On Tuesday, while speaking on ABC's "Good Morning America," Fauci said in part, " You want him fully protected as he enters into the presidency in January." Biden told reporters on Tuesday he wants to do it by the numbers and that when he does it he will do it publicly. More than 300,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the United States. Currently the Pfizer vaccine is being distributed to health care workers across 425 sites.
