Trump also touts wearing a mask after downplaying them for months, calling it "patriotic." A source says that negative poll numbers finally persuaded him to wear a mask. Trump wearing a mask comes 108 days after his own administration recommended wearing masks.
Dr. Birx says that wearing masks, closing bars and limiting indoor gatherings can come close to impact of sheltering-in-place.
