#259 Paras Sood iTile Toronto talking all kinds of tile and tile instalations at a very young age
We're talking tiling on today's episode of The Construction Life Podcast with guest Paras Sood from Innovation Tile. Starting off with how he got into tiling as an immigrant Marketing student, Paras shares lots of stories about his experience being a young tiler learning on the job. Now running his own business, Paras has the experience to back up his spirit as he discusses contractors and clients being unwilling to listen to the advice of tilers and the dangers of certain design choices like ceiling tiles. He surprises Manny with his perfectionism and he even expresses having trust issues sending his workers on a job without him there. This episode is not without its advice for young tradespeople, with everything from tips on how to grout to what not to do as a tradesperson's helper. Wrapping up with some tool talk and hammering home the importance of a clean jobsite, we answer the question on everyone's minds: is white thinset actually stronger?
