Episode 43: I Felt Like God Was Out to Get Me (Sharla Baker)
Sharla was fourteen weeks pregnant on her wedding day. Her baby died three days later. She believed God was punishing her for premarital sex, so she grew to hate Him. As she explains, "I wish I was ignorant of Him. I wish I could be one of those people that just didn't believe. Because if I just didn't believe in God, I couldn't be mad at Him. I would just rationalize—life isn't fair; it sucks—and then I have to control my own life. It is so much harder to say God is in control of my life. And, I have to relinquish control unto Him, and trust in His plan."
This is her story.
