Chupacabra literally means "goat sucker", and boy howdy is this cryptid aptly named. The Chupacabra is a vampiric beast with glowing red eyes, fangs, a long tongue with a sucker, wings, talons, and spikes. Or it might be a hairless dog. Who knows!
In this week's episode, Zoey goes into the legend and the sightings of the infamous Chupacabra in her most popular cryptid to date. A beast that started in Puerto Rico in 1995, he's traveled the world killing livestock on his way. Zoey even shares three images of the beast, two in your host's home state of SC and one in Texas. You can find those photos in the sources.
But first, Robin tells us about the probably potentially first depiction of a ghost in her Something Spooky!
Please note, if you get a sense of Deja Vu while listening to this, there is a good chance you heard this episode last week, instead of the Bear Creek Swamp episode, which is an amazing episode. So please make sure to go back and listen to that!
