In this reflection for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Patrick and Catherine Sullivan remind us that God is with us, and because we are made in his image, we don’t need to complicate things, we just need to be genuine, consistent, and persistent.
God loves us and wants to know us. He wants to be with us in a real and loving relationship. And just like any relationship, you don’t need to overcomplicate things. Sometimes a good relationship is just holding someone’s arms up, figuratively speaking of course, or just trusting, being consistent.
