The Washington Capitals fall to the Boston Bruins to start the regular season
In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the first regular season of the game against the Boston Bruins. The Capitals lost 5-2. The had some pretty decent push back but ultimately it wasn't enough. The game saw goals by Anthony Mantha and Conor Sheary. The game saw the Washington Capitals have Darcy Kuemper in net. Darcy made 25 saves on 29 shots. Not a great game, not a poor game by Darcy. Just a game that could use a little work.
Later in the show Dan talks about the loss of Brett Leason and AJF to waivers. Leason was picked up by Ducks and AJF was picked up by the Jets. Why did they Capitals have to expose them to waivers? Was there a more logical choice?
