Genesis 7:24 And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.
We tend to think only of the rain when we talk about the Flood. But the rain is only the beginning of the Flood’s work. For another 150 days—five months—the water stands on the earth. What is important about this point?
From this time, all the remains of the people and animals killed in the Flood sink to the bottom. Sediment deposits covered these remains, giving us the fossils we have today.
In the layers of the Grand Canyon, almost 400 miles from Los Angeles Harbor, layers of fossils of sea creatures exist nearly 8000 feet above sea level. 400 miles from the Indian Ocean, sea fossils exist high up in the Himalayas. Where did these fossils come from? They were deposited during the Flood. There’s no other scientific explanation. God gives us the true answer. Amen.
