David Perron on Fire in Detroit Red Wings OT Loss to Los Angeles Kings
The Detroit Red Wings battled hard against a talented Kings roster but fell in OT 5-4 for their first loss of the season. David Perron is everthing he is advertised at with 2 goals and an assist in this game. Dylan Larkin saved the game with a spectacular diving play to prevent an empty net goal that directly led to Sundqvist's game tying goal. And special teams over was very strong with one PP goal and a still flawless PK. But none of that was enough to overcome the teams defensive woes at 5v5. Consistley burned on the outside and leaving weak-side wingers wide up sunk the ship on this game. But still 2-0-1 to start the season and have 3 days off ahead of the Blackhawks on Friday. #lgrw
