When you come to Jesus in trust and surrender, the Bible says you are a new creation with a new heart and a new identity. Where your heart was once unresponsive to God, it is now responsive and alive to Him. Where you were once alienated from God as an orphan you are now born of God into His family, with Him as your perfect Father and other believers as your spiritual family.
