Week three of my special Halloween edition of Reel Early is with my friend and horror historian, Aaron Christensen. It was fun to catch up with Aaron and discuss how he got into horror as a young kid, pre VHS, in San Francisco. We also discuss our shared love of Dario Argento, why horror movie still endure to this day, and a whole lot more.
We also discuss his yearly "Scare-a-Thon" where he watches horror movies while raising money for charity. This year's organization is the Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project. WRRAP is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization assisting women who are financially unable to pay for safe, legal abortions or emergency contraceptives. If you're interested in donating while seeing what movies he is watching and discussing, click on the link below.
