Will Toyota Hilux ever get LandCruiser's V6 twin turbo diesel engine?

How much longer exactly can Hilux maintain its position as the top selling passenger vehicle in Australia? Sales that top the charts today are reflective of orders that were taken 6 to 12 months ago and since then, Toyota has pulled the Rogue and the Rugged X from the range on its website.

Can Toyota get its act together to deliver a Land Cruiser engine V6 Hilux anytime soon, or is it actually game over for Hilux on top?
