#142: What Information Is My Employer Collecting About Me? Do I Have Rights!

Hi there

We hope you are able to access your employment rights at work, to provide yourself some security in these uncertain times. Don’t be put off into thinking there is no point. This is exactly what your employer wants you to think!

We want to start by saying thank you, to everyone who stayed with us during our bullying series.  Thank you for your comment and your queries. If you want to follow the latest developments around bullying, you can pick this up on our TikTok, Instagram and Facebook social media pages.  We’ll also be returning to the bullying question as we move closer to our Bullying Surgery event at the end of November 2022, and at the next launch of our Bullying course in several weeks’ time.   

This week we start a miniseries looking at your employment rights and the collection of your personal data at work. The data your employer holds about you, is often something you don’t think about until you see your private information splashed across a random table at work, or you hear or overhear something very personal about you, being spoken about by your colleagues – something which only your manager and a select small group of people should know about.  You get upset, but you don’t know what to do about this. We’ll be covering this, in this data and employment rights mini series.
