In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Washington Capitals performance tonight against the New Jersey Devils. Once again the Capitals got great production from their fourth line with goals from Garnet Hathaway and Nic Dowd. The fourth line also had a new addition to their line as Beck Malenstyn was inserted into the lineup and got an assist tonight.
The big story of the night was Charlie Lindgren as he made 38 saves on 41 shots. Truly a stellar night for Charlie as he made some timely and big saves. My hope for Charlie is that he gets the next start Thursday vs the Dallas Stars.
Dylan Strome had a 2-assist night and Anthony Mantha showed up on the score sheet with an assist on the Protas goal.
