Another Sunday. Another conversation about a Nebraska team that failed to seize an opportunity right in front of it.
On Saturday for almost a half the Huskers were in position to be holding a lead and threatening, maybe, to even push it to a two score lead against a ranked team.
After forcing a three-and-out and with good field position the Huskers had the perfect play. And it was dropped. Two plays later the game flipped. Two plays after that the score flipped. Thank you for playing.
What else happened in the Illinois game? Plenty and that’s why KLIN sports director Kaleb Henry joins on the Sunday Side Session to discuss what happened and what we should take from the loss.
