The Legendary Bullet - Episode 4 - Community - Allan Hitchcock, John Dove and Hariharan Srinivasan
Welcome to The Legendary Bullet series of the Ride Pure podcast.
In this episode, Gordon May speaks to renowned Royal Enfield parts supplier, Allan Hitchcock of Hitchcocks Motorcycles, about what the Bullet means to his customers and business, prominent Royal Enfield Owners Club (REOC) member, John Dove, about his passion for Bullets and Madras Bulls rider, Hariharan Srinivasan, known as Hari, who claims he was ‘Born, brought up and built like the Bullet!’
Unveiled 90 years ago in 1932, the legendary Bullet has stood the test of time as a sports bike, a trials bike, a commuter, a vehicle for exploration, the basis of tens of thousands of custom builds, and an ally of the armed forces. In India, it has been the king of the road since 1955 and unquestionably laid solid foundations for Royal Enfield as we know it today.
In recognition of its unprecedented endurance as the longest motorcycle model in continuous production, we will be talking to people to whom the Bullet means everything over the coming months. They are explorers; restorers and mechanics; customisers and members of the Bullet riding community.
