The Buffalo Bills took care of Aaron Rogers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but the difference in play by the offense between the first and second halves was stark. In the first half the Bills, behind the strong arm of quarterback Josh Allen, ran out to a commanding lead and moved the ball at will. Yet in the second half Buffalo's offense sputtered and Josh Allen had his worst game since 2020.
Despite the poor performance by Josh Allen, hosts Jamie D'Amico and big Chris Newton see it as a positive. While it may have hurt Allen's case for MVP, it showed the rest of the team that they can win without a sterling performance by their QB.
Other positives included Bills rookie running back James Cook had his best game as a pro, and the Bills pass defense held strong against a future Hall of Famer in Rogers.
They move on to discuss some of the trades around the NFL and how it seems that teams are accepting lower draft picks in exchange for taking on salary, and why the Bills haven't participated.
The upcoming game against the once seemingly-formidable New York Jets appeared looks different after their loss to the New England Patriots and the hosts tell you their thoughts on what to expect from that game.
Finally, D'Amico and Newton opine on whether geography should count a person out as a potential Bills Mafia member.
