Tranmere Rovers (H) FA Cup and Harrogate Town (A) Preview - Season 22/23, Episode 22
After two successive defeats in the league, United bounced back with an impressive win at fellow promotion hopefuls Tranmere last weekend, despite injuries and suspensions continuing to plague the squad.
In this episode of The Brunton Bugle, Lee and Mike discuss that victory in Wirral, including Dennis' double, Stretton's impact on return and what it's like to see four Cumbrians starting for the Blues for the first time in over seven years.
We also look ahead to the return fixture against Tranmere at Brunton Park in the FA Cup this weekend and the midweek trip to Harrogate in the league. No away fan pod chat for this ep, but there's a bit of discussion about the FA Cup and what it means to us.
Alongside this is the usual Loan Watch and Ex-Blues Round-up (Note - This episode was recorded before the club's decision to close the Paddock - we will discuss this in depth next weekend).
Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined via the wonders of the internet by Mike Booth in Formby.
