The immune system counts on the microbiome for functionality.
By taking care of the gut, we can recover better from COVID, per the studies, but it goes beyond this. A healthy gut = a healthy brain!
So, how do we keep the gut healthy?
The first thing to do is to get rid of all antibiotic-antimicrobial products (including hand sanitizers and antibacterial soaps). This needs to be done, as soon as possible, even though you may not feel sick. Many products don't give the bacteria time to get back to some baseline, and killing off both the good and the bad bacteria can result in a very bad situation. The key thing here is to go back to basic hygiene. Use hand soap, not 'hand sanitizer', and wash your hands with soap and water.
Eat only organic foods.
