SLOP BACK: Anthony Davis Trade Rumors + Fake Trade Ideas + Lakers Targeting Mystery Star With Russ & Picks Package

SLOP SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!! Lakers & Klutch Propagandist Harrison Faigen (@hmfaigen) from SBNation returned to talk with Sam and Trill about all things Lakers including the recent trade rumors around Anthony Davis started by the Podfather himself Bill Simmons. Before we got into that we discussed the new rumors that the Lakers may not trade their two first round picks with Russell Westbrook for the rumored Myles Turner + Buddy Hield deal or Kyrie Irving because they may be targeting a new mystery star with that trade package. We tried to figure out exactly who that star is. We then discussed whether it is realistic for the Lakers to consider trading Anthony Davis this season, what teams would be interested in AD and we all pitched some fake AD trades that ranged from pretty realistic to legitimately psychotic. We went through more than 15 trades and discussed which ones made the most sense for the Lakers and other teams around the NBA. We were gone off the slop on this one so there were many sidebars and insane rants so please hang with us. Everything else we were supposed to talk about on this episode was bumped to the next episode since we went almost two hours on the Lakers and fake AD trades. Enjoy!
