Tolkien's creative mind with Dr. Holly Ordway, who has written an extensive and comprehensive book titled Tolkien's Modern Reading: Middle-Earth Beyond the Middle Ages. They talk about what Tolkien read, how he appraised what he read, and what his approach can teach Christian creatives and readers alike. 

Dr. Ordway is the Cardinal Francis George Fellow of Faith and Culture for the Word of Fire Institute and a Visiting Professor of Apologetics at Houston Christian University. In addition to Tolkien's Modern Reading, she is also the author of Tales of Faith: A Guide to Sharing the Gospel Through Literature, Apologetics and the Christian Imagination: An Integrated Approach to Defending the Faith, and Not God's Type: An Atheist Academic Lays Down Her Arms.
