Hudson County, NJ's Zak Ferentz is nothing if not an eclectic persona. having cut his teeth in Jersey Hardcore outfit War Story, Zak had gleaned his entrepreneurial spirit from the DIY ethics of Punk. Shifting musical gears to acoustic, singer?songwriter folk, he'd begun to find his own particular voice while creating music "for his parents".

 Felons is all his own, borrowing liberally from his musical and emotional past, Felons injects the intensity, of Hardcore, the intimate honesty of Folk, and the electronic elements of Post Punk, Industrial, and Hip Hop.

 Zak opens up about his musical influences, his storied past running the streets of New Jersey, coming up on his own terms, and how we are ALL truly FELONS.
