Philly Welcomes Another Bus of Migrants From Texas
A bus carrying 48 migrants from Texas arrived outside of the 30th Street station on Monday. It’s the second bus in just six days that’s been sent to Philadelphia by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
City Cast Philly host Trenae Nuri speaks with Benjamin Gamarra, a resource organizer for Juntos, a community-led, Latinx immigrant organization in South Philadelphia about what it was like welcoming people and connecting them with resources and support.
